Cruise
We had so much fun on our cruise to Progresso and Cozumel. Although the ship was older, the food was just okay, and there wasn't a ton to do on the ship we loved it. It was sooooo relaxing! We also got to do some fun things for our shore excursions that totally made up for anything ghetto on the cruise boat. We went to the Mayan Ruins in Progresso. It was so cool to see actual sites from the Book of Mormon. We also got to snorkel at one of the best reefs in the world (thanks Heidi and Aaron for giving us the info). I enjoyed every moment laying out and doing absolutely nothing. I would sleep in late, eat, nap (lay out), eat, nap (lay out), eat more ice cream, nap, and eat again. Pretty much awesome. Needless to say it was hard to come back to real life. We are still recovering. We still have the sensation we are rocking on a boat...it is so strange, especially when we went to the gym. We are so grateful to Jared's mom for putting up with our boys. It was so nice to be together just us.

That looks like SO much fun! I would love to see the ruins. When someone is cleaning your room and cooking your food, it always makes it look and taste just that much better, Right? :) I'm glad you guys had fun!
So glad you guys got to get away. You deserve it. Sounds like you had a blast I don't know what I would do with a whole week without kids. Tons of fun! Now back to reality- always a bummer.
I love seeing ruins, it is fun to think about the people that inhabited them so long ago.Must have been nice to go lay out at the beach and snorkel (love snorkeling, esp. in the Caribbean). And lucky that they gave you a relatively large room! On our honeymoon we had this tiny little room that sucked!
I am so jealous. I bet it was fun to have a get-away.
I'm so glad you got to get away. I'm so jealous! It was so good catching up on the phone the other day! I can't wait to meet your boys. Hopefully it happens soon :) Love ya tons girl!
It was in May. Summer didn't work its way up here until a couple of weeks ago and now it's making up for lost time.
