Not a lot going on!

Well, I haven't posted in a while, bc we really haven't been doing anything interesting. Talan thinks he owns the place now crawling all over the house and climbing over everything that stands in his way (I now remember why we got a single story). We just pray everyday he doesn't have permanent brain damage from all his spills (50% of which are attributed to his big brother knocking him over). He thinks it is fun to pull himself up on the furniture and let go. DUH! Austin is hilarious and counting down the days until he gets to go to grandma's house. We've had some stormy weather lately, and now before goes to bed at night he asks, "is there just going to be a little bit of thunder, mom?" He used to ask me if the thunder was dinosaurs roaring. Jared is doing well, he'll be traveling everyweek for the next two months, which means fun times for me! Hopefully we'll have some exciting new picture when we get back from Denver!

CA-The mountains

In California we were also able to go to my Uncle's cabin. The kids had a blast playing outdoors, roasting marshmallows, and going on the alpine slide. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was when Austin got car sick (he is definitely my son) driving to Big Bear. Gotta love that!

CA-The Beach

We just got back from California visiting the fam. It was a busy trip, but we had a blast and the boys and I are officially exhausted. I love that my family still lives in CA because there are lots of things to do and we were able to go from the beach to the mountains all on the same vacation. And, of course, the weather was beautiful. Here are some highlights from our trip:











On Wednesday we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific (in lou of the normal Sea World trip). The kids loved it. That evening we went to visit my grandparents. Sadly, we only got to visit with them for a short period of time, but we were able to pull the kids together long enough to give their grandparents hugs, kisses, and smiles (which was amazing bc Talan cut a tooth on the way over there). You may also notice Austin is no longer interested in posing for pictures. DUH!
