Earning Money

After trying to bribe Austin with m&m's to use the potty to no avail, we found something that works. MONEY! Today he used the money he had been saving to buy this Lightening McQueen wallet. Gotta love the dollar spot at Target! He keeps trying to save up for a car, but always finds other things to buy and can't hold out. Who knew a 2 year old could understand the value of money? I wish he also understood how much pullups cost so we could move this process along!

Rolling Around

After weeks of trying to figure it out, Talan finally rolled over from his back to his tummy. He was so excited about it. He has been rolling from his belly to his back for a while (not usually on purpose), so hopefully now if he gets turned over at night he can figure out how to get back. This is an after shot!

Rice Cereal

A week ago we gave Talan rice cereal for the first time. I was trying to hold off longer, but he always seemed hungry. After a week, I've decided he is not that interested. Hopefully later on he'll come around. I think right now he is just trying to figure out how to survive cutting teeth. We've had some rough nights around here lately with him waking up ever1-2 hours. I didn't think babies are supposed to revert to waking up so often. YUCK!
