Egg Hunt

Saturday Austin and I went to a city Easter Egg hunt. Austin was hilarious frantically picking up eggs, too bad the candy was nothing to get excited about.

Should we be worried?

Talan is determined to make his way around. He isn't even 5 months yet. Last night Jared put him in the dining room and he made his way to the kitchen. SCARY! Here is a video clip of him trying to reach a toy. It is kind of long and don't mind me yelling at Austin in the background (he was trying to climb on me-that is why it is so wobbly).

Grandpa Barry

My dad came to visit this weekend bc he had some business in the area. Austin was so excited and had the best time. When my dad had to leave to go to a banquet Saturday night Austin about freaked out. All he talks about now is when he gets to fly on the airplane to see Grandpa again. Hopefully Grandpa got a good nap on the plane after putting up with Austin all weekend.

Gotta love Texas

Gotta love Texas weather. Saturday it was 80 degrees and last night it snowed. It was hilarious when I went to the store last night and everyone in the store was freaking out. It was only like 1 inch. Austin was so excited to go out and play in it this morning. He didn't really know what to do with it though.

Making cookies

So there is a power struggle going on in our house right now. Austin is used to making cookies just him and me, but when Jared is home...there is always a physical struggle of some sort with crying and carrying on about who gets to lick the beater.
